Some participating olympic teams from all over the world can’t seem to stand not dropping in on Japan and grab their favorite sushi before they finally go to China for the main event. According to the news by AP (that’s Associated Press for you) however, the reason is more on China’s not so perfect air condition and food safety or you could just say fear of food poisoning. Come on, China is not that bad, they have lots of sushi too. I’d like to think that these sports men and women would just like to go shopping at Shibuya or get drunk at Roppongi before everything else.

Someone in France Olympic team even went to great lengths pointing out Shanghai’s looming “political tension” - whatever that is. When the truth is they’d just can’t get over that magical sour taste of Wakayama Umeboshi. Meanwhile, Bahrain will go first to Japan allegedly because Kaminoyama has the list of their favorite dinner. I’m sure China could accommodate request for food ingredients if they just say “please”. With all this stopping over, why don’t they just hold the Olympic here in Japan and get it over with - dunno know what the hell are they thinking. Well, I guess they’d just really want to practice well after all.
