Oman put considerably more pressure on Japan than they did a couple of days ago to get a deserved draw while Japanese striker Okubo got a straight red card for kicking the Omani goalkeeper in the second half. Pretty stupid move. Japan stays on second place behind Bahrain.

Beers for the younger generation
This fall, Asahi will start selling the Asahi Ginger Draft, a happoshu (low-malt beer) containing ginger extract. The 350ml can will sell for 160 yen. Not to be outdone, Kirin will also sell its Kirin Smooth, a lighter beverage with 4% alcohol. It will sell for 140 yen per 350ml can. The two new beers are aimed at the younger drinkers who tend to dislike the bitter taste of beer. (0)
